Boy, how time flies! It's been 4 years since our last bike ride but it just feels like 4 months. Just the other day, I saw a documentary on Street Children in Africa and I felt quite moved to see how children from babies upwards are left to fend for themselves on the streets due to all sorts of social and economic issues. It's quite sad to see how these children have been failed by society and the system in general.
This has spurred LifeBikers once again to take action and help raise much needed funds to assist the various NGOs on the ground who are doing tremendous works to reintegrate these helpless children back into society, especially with basic needs including feeding and education.
Planning for this 800-mile Bike Ride 2010 from London to Luxembourg started in December 2009 and has already gone into advance stages. Our revamped website has been redeveloped to make it easier to follow our ride and more convenient to send your kind donations to us. We'll continue to update this blog to keep you abreast as much as we can, but please help spread the news — LifeBikers are on the move!
